CasePalm Intake
Get your story lawyer-ready.
Turn what happened into a one-page packet — a timeline, the people involved, your documents, and your questions — that you can bring to any lawyer you choose. It’s free, and we don’t keep what you write.
Before you start
- This isn’t private the way talking to a lawyer is. What you type here, or tell an AI assistant, is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Stick to facts, dates, and documents — not opinions about who was at fault.
- It organizes; it doesn’t advise. The packet records what happened so a lawyer can get up to speed quickly. It does not give legal advice or tell you whether you have a case, and it is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.
Time-sensitive? If you’ve received court papers, have a hearing coming up, or are in danger, contact a lawyer or legal aid now — the packet can wait. In an emergency, call 911.
Accused of a crime, or being investigated? Don’t write it down here. Talk to a criminal defense lawyer or a public defender first.
Build your packet
Fill in what you can — only the first box is required. When you’re done, the packet downloads as a PDF.
Use it with an AI assistant
If your AI assistant lets you add a custom connector (sometimes called an MCP connector), add one with this address. The assistant can then organize your story into the same packet as you talk it through.

Then try asking something like:
- “Help me get ready to talk to a lawyer about my landlord keeping my deposit.”
- “I was in a car accident last month — organize what happened before I call an attorney.”
- “My employer stopped paying my overtime. Put together a summary I can bring to a lawyer.”
- “I have a consult with a lawyer on Friday. Help me prepare.”
Your conversation is handled under your assistant’s own privacy terms. The same notice applies: it isn’t privileged.
What CasePalm Intake won’t do
- Tell you whether you have a case, a claim, or a defense
- Tell you about deadlines — some legal deadlines are short, which is one reason to talk to a lawyer soon
- Recommend, rank, or refer you to a lawyer
- Keep a copy of anything you enter
Finding a lawyer
You choose who to share your packet with. These free public services can help you find someone:
- Lawyer referral services near you American Bar Association directory of bar-run referral services
- Free legal help if you qualify Legal Services Corporation — find your local legal aid office
For lawyers
The packet is an ordinary PDF anyone can read. Firms using CasePalm can also import it on the new-matter form: the people, timeline, documents, and questions come in for your review, and you choose each party’s role.
Terms of use and privacy
Effective September 25, 2026
CasePalm Intake is offered free by CasePalm LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“CasePalm”). By using it you agree to these terms.
Not legal advice. CasePalm is not a law firm. CasePalm Intake organizes information you enter into a document; it does not give legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with CasePalm or anyone else. CasePalm Intake is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.
No referrals. We don’t recommend or refer lawyers, and we don’t pay or receive anything when you share your packet with one.
Your information. We don’t store what you enter. The packet is built when you ask for it and sent straight back to you. The PDF carries a copy of your information inside it so a law firm’s software can read it — anyone you give the file to can see everything in it. To keep the service running and prevent abuse, we record only counts (for example, how many events a packet had), and our hosting provider’s standard logs may record technical details such as your IP address — never what you wrote. If a law firm imports your packet into CasePalm, that firm controls the information from then on. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Your responsibilities. Enter information that’s true to the best of your knowledge, and avoid sensitive numbers a lawyer won’t need yet, such as Social Security or bank account numbers. You must be 18 or older, or use it with a parent or guardian. It isn’t for emergencies.
No warranty. CasePalm Intake is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, CasePalm isn’t responsible for decisions you make based on a packet. These terms are governed by Texas law.
